“Man is shut up at present in his surface individual consciousness.
Yoga can open in him a consciousness which becomes one with the world,
as a universal Being with universal Mind, Power and Life. He can live
in conscious relationship with these things and have cosmic consciousness.”
““What the new consciousness wants: no more divsions. Being able to understand the extreme spiritual nature as well as the extreme material nature, and to find their meeting point, where...they become a real force.”
.”
““Joy and happiness are the indicators of balance in a human machine...An inner joyousness amounting to ecstasy, is the normal conditioning of the genius mind. Any lack of joyousness develops body-damaging toxins. That inner ecstasy of the mind is the secret fountain of perpetual youth and strength in any man. He who finds it finds omnipotence and omniscience.”
.”
““Do I contradict myself? Very well then, I contradict myself. I am large. I contain multitudes.”
.”
““You are not a human being in search of a spiritual experience, you are a spiritual being immersed in a human experience.”
.”
““We have the extraordinary coded within us, waiting to be released. Our senses are indeed our doors and windows on this world, and in a very real sense, the key to the unlocking of meaning and the wellspring of creativity.”
.”
““Common sense dictates that we evaluate our beliefs on the basis of how they affect us. If they make us more loving, creative and wise, they are good beliefs. If they make us cruel, jealous, depressed and sick, they cannot be good beliefs.”
.”
